I did not vote for you in the last election and I’m not voting for you in this one. As such your telemarketers calling my house encouraging me to vote for you are wasting their time. The postcards and flyers that are being sent to me by your campaign likewise are a waste. So thank you for helping the Kerry/Edwards campaign by spending your marketing dollars on somebody who will never vote for you. I look foward to seeing you pack your bags and leave the White House.

Alex: I had this problem on a 1999 Golf V5 however this solution didn't work. I phoned a mechanic, who said this:
1) Turn off ignition
2) Turn key part way but don't start the car. With some combination of wiggling the gearstick and turning the key without starting the engine, you can move the stick.

The first postcard I got cracked me up because I knew there was not a chance I’d vote for GWB. The flyer that came next annoyed me just a little bit. It was the two calls I received during my lunch hour that really pissed me off and which prompted this post.
