You are feeling very, very sleepy…

Well, maybe you aren’t but I am today. It probably has something to do with me waking bolt upright at 1:30 this morning thinking my alarm clock had gone off and it taking me 10–15 minutes for the following realizations to dawn on me:
- It’s awfully dark out, even for 6AM.
- I didn’t turn my alarm clock off or hit the snooze button, but I don’t hear the radio playing1.
- The clock on the microwave says 1:30 AM.
- The clock on my computer says 1:35 AM.
*sigh* I suppose I should be thankful I only lost that 10–15 miunutes of sleep but it sure is making the day drag along today.
1 I use a clock/radio for my alarm clock and will shoot anyone dumb enough to switch it to that god-awful beep from the radio.

…you should have stayed up to see the sunrise!
;)

Actually, my real, alarm clock goes off at 6:00 AM CST (GMT –06:00). According to what I could find out online, sunrise on the day I wrote this post was at 6:22 AM CST (GMT –06:00). I would have been up anyway, not that I can see the sunrise from our apartment’s entirely west facing windows. I would have had to get out of bed, showered, out the door and down to the street to see the sunrise. All in 22 minutes when half the time I hit the snooze button at least twice? No chance. :p
