An article I wish I’d written…

Believe in yourself
Says Ferris: "Not that I condone fascism. Or any 'isms'. 'Isms', in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an 'ism'. He should believe in himself."

Slow clap for the second most profound line of the movie.

    Do we have to ask?

My vote for most profound is for something Ferris' girlfriend said, "Sooner or later, everyone goes to the zoo."

Nevermind. I RTFA. I disagree with his choice, but the article could be distilled pretty well into one of those "Everything I Needed to Know in Life, I Learned in [blank]" posters.

I rather thought that was the point of the article, to effectively turn the movie into one of those posters.
