E.T. in the Sky
Looks more like E.T. reaching out his finger to "phone home" than what you linked to.

Using my feed?
Just a quick note to all of you using my RSS feed. I've changed my FeedBurner settings to splice in my bookmarks on del.icio.us and my photos on Flickr. This is something of an experiment, so please do let me know what you think.
Creative Commons Works!
Boing Boing recently pointed out a music video created by Jonathan Coulton. Mr. Coulton went to Flickr and found a bunch of images with Creative Common licenses. He then created a touching music video based on those images. This is the sort of thing that could not have been done without Creative Commons as Mr. Coulton would have have been tied up for weeks & weeks searching for the copyright owners of the images to get each of their permission to use the images in his project.
Mr. Coulton also has a selection of his other songs (also CC licensed) on his website which are worth downloading.
Morning Commute
My drive to the office is short and rather dull, but it does take me past both the local police & fire departments. On most days, all that means is occassionally a cop car pulls out of the police parking lot. And on some days, there's a Pepsi truck blocking half the road as they deliver soda. But on rarer occassions, life is far more interesting.
On those occassions, the fire department has car wrecks in their parking lot. The cars can be half crushed, upside down, missing doors, etc... Unfortunately, they finished up with their training and removed the cars before I got over there to take photos. *sigh*
Still, there's also some new construction which just started up along my commute and I think it's for an expansion on CPL. Given that they've only dug out a big hole in the ground so far; I think I'll have time to get some photos before they finish up. ![]()
