Some days things just don’t work out the way you want. This evening I biked downtown, hoping to get some decent shots including flags and/or any other patriotic symbols I came across. Unfortunately, I got down there after the bridges were closed down and the crowds were large. I was unable to find a good shot like what I had been thinking about. Still this shot of the Alliant Energy building lit by the setting sun with the neon glow of its sign wasn’t too bad a consolation prize.
