Another fine pick from CPL. I thought I\’d read online somewhere that this book was another in the Dirk Gently series. I\’m about halfway through now and so far all it seems to be is a collection of short pieces of Mr. Adams\’ writings over the years. It\’s still a fun read, but somewhat disappointing since I was expecting something completely different.
Update: In the last third of the book, I found a few chapters of what started as a Dirk Gently story but the story was unfinished. In some of the rest of the writing; there was mention of this story possibly being redone as a Hitchhiker\’s Guide but unfortunately DNA passed on before that happened. Reading this book was bitter-sweet. If you liked any of DNA\’s work; you should read this as well.
