I’m not a fan of the “ingenious” hidalgo, but I know him all the same.
Well color me impressed. I didn’t expect anybody would look at this photo and immediately recognize who it was of. Have you seen one of these before or ….?
It looks very similar (if not identical) to the set of he and Sancho Panza we had before one of our daughters got him off the book shelf and broke his staff and then his head. Our Don Quixote was approximately 7″ or 8″ tall and Sancho was riding his donkey.
Ah well that would explain it then. The status in my photo is about 2 foot tall and Quixote on his mount. If there is a Sancho Panza statue to match it, I don’t have it.
