Friday night when I got home from work, I noticed a kitten sitting next to our house. I mentioned this to my wife who went out to investigate and found there was both a kitten and a mama cat, hiding out in our wood pile. This afternoon when we got home from running some errands; we went out to investigate. I took my camera as the kitten wasn’t letting me within 20 feet before running away. To my surprise when I got around the backside of our house; I saw one kitten, nor even just the two in this picture but 3 kittens who had been lounging in the sun before I startled them into running for the woodpile. So we apparently have a full blown, feline family living next to us right now.
My wife has expressed an interest in attempting to capturing “the kitten” when we thought there was just the one and seeing to it that it got a good home (e.g. attempting to integrate the kitten with our Raja). With a full blown family though, we will be seeking the advice of our local animal shelter on the best thing to do.
